Easy! Cucumber With Konbu and Garlic

I mixed cucumbers with konbu-cha to prepare instant pickles, but I thought it might also make a good little appetizer if I also added garlic.

Cooking Instructions

Peel the outside of the cucumber in several places and slice diagonally at about 5 mm thickness. Dice the garlic.

Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of salt on the cucumber from Step 1 and gently rub it in. Leave it for 5 minutes and then rinse with water. Lightly remove the excess water with kitchen paper.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of konbu-cha and garlic to the cucumber in Step 2. Just mix together and it's done. If it isn't salty enough, add some salt or konbu-cha.
