Korean pancake in 15 mins! - With any leftovers

I almost always have spring onions and carrots in my fridge, so this is a quick and easy recipe which I can make anytime with ingredients that I have at home.
The amounts of ingredients do not need to be so specific, and can be adjusted according to the softness or hardness of the pancake batter. If it's too hard, then add a bit more water. If it's too soft, then add a bit more plain flour.
This time I added carrots and spring onions only, but you can add anything you want such as prawns, squid, pork, chicken, beef, kimchi, cheese, etc!!
By the way, my Korean husband told me that many Koreans crave this Korean pancake(pajeon) and Makgeolli(Korean rice wine) on a rainy day. ☔️ Interesting!

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare a bowl and add all the ingredients for the pancake batter(plain flour, potato starch, egg, water, soy sauce, dashida powder).
- 2
Cut spring onion into thin slices and cut carrot into strips. Put these ingredients in the bowl and mix with the pancake batter.
- 3
Place some sesame oil in a frying pan and wait until the pan becomes hot. Drop a bit of pancake batter into the pan. If it sizzles, it is ready to start cooking. Pour all the pancake batter and spread it evenly and thinly around the pan. Cook under the medium heat. Turn the pancake over when you see the surface of the pancake is cooked. When both sides are cooked and become crispy, it's ready to serve!
- 4
Mix all the ingredients for the dipping sauce. The pancake is tasty as it is, but you can enjoy with the sauce too!

Korean Pancake Korean Pancake
Hello everyone! My name is Karen Bunal. Please bare with me as I am new here and still trying to figure out how to use this app properly. In the meantime, allow me to share this Korean pancake recipe I made recently.Living in Korea 🇰🇷 is one of the most beautiful blessings anyone can ever experience. Just like your friend here, 👉 🙋♀️ #grateful 💖 So while I'm still here, I want to learn as many delicious dishes as I possibly can. One of them is this Korean pancake. It is one of my favorite Korean foods. I bought the batter at a Korean store that even if I didn't understand what the label said (because it is in Hangul), I still bought it. Cooking and learning different cuisines can be very complicated sometimes but we should be patient, be imaginative, and be more productive if you really want to learn. Since this recipe of mine was successfully done, I am excited to share this with you as well. This is my own version of Korean pancake. I hope you will like it too. Have a great one! It's really good to be here and share my recipes from now on! Karen Bunal -

Okonomiyaki (Japanese Savoury Pancake) with Tofu Okonomiyaki (Japanese Savoury Pancake) with Tofu
I come from the Kansai region, so I love okonomiyaki! My Singaporean husband also loves it. It's easy to eat a lot without thinking, I added tofu and hijiki as a healthy choice. It turns very soft and delicious. We both ate too much of this!!This mixture is little bit soft, so please be careful when you turn it over! First cook one side very well until nicely golden brown, then slowly turn it over. If you add more flour, it will be easier to flip, but I cook with less flour. It's also easier if you cook it in smaller batches. This recipe is vegetarian, so if you're not, add some pork or seafoood. For 2 servings. Recipe by Lantana cookpad.japan -
Oil-Free Plain Baked Doughnuts (with Pancake Mix) Oil-Free Plain Baked Doughnuts (with Pancake Mix)
I adjusted this recipe to make 12 doughnuts. I tried making a non-oil doughnuts as a snack for my child. They are moist and plump. If you mix everything in a bowl, you can mix it well and quickly. However, you'll have to use a spoon the batter into the molds, which is a pain and takes time.I recommend using a Ziploc bag because this way, it'll be ready before you know it, and you can squeeze the batter easily into the molds.I used plain yogurt. Jijimi (Korean Savory Pancakes) with Chinese Chives and Cheese Jijimi (Korean Savory Pancakes) with Chinese Chives and Cheese
Have fun improvising with different ingredients as well! You can add or replace Chinese chives with spinach or komatsuna greens, or you can also try adding carrots or ground meat.Adding a small amount of ingredients will not affect the batter and should hold together fine.My 1 year-old son enjoys this as his favorite finger food.Leftovers can be stored in the freezer. I recommend using onion for sweetness. Measurements doesn't have to be accurate. If you cook over medium heat, it'll come out nice and gooey. If you brown it more over high heat at the end, it'll be crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. Recipe by Tsukushion cookpad.japan -
