In a bowl dissolved yeast in warm water, let stand for 5 mins until frothy.

Strir in sugar,milk,egg,salt and flour to make a soft dough, knead for 5mins until smooth. Cover with cloth and set aside to rise, let it rise for 40mins until the dough has doubled in size.

Punch down dough and knead, pinch off small handfuls of dough and roll into balls and place on a tray. Cover with towel and allow to rise until it doubled in size about 30mins.

During the second rising, preheat the pan to high heat.

Roll one ball of dough out into a thin circle, lightly oil the pan and place the dough on a pan until lightly browned.

Brush uncooked side with butter and turn it over until browned. Continue the process until all the naans has been prepared.
