Pre heat the "oven" for about 5mins

Assemble your ingredients

Beat the egg whites till it becomes white and double in size, then add the yolks one by one and continue beating

Add the castor/powdered sugar one table spoon at a time and continue beating on medium speed.. NOTE:i made my castor sugar by blending the normal white sugar

Add the vanilla and continue with the beating

Sieve the flour and baking powder, add little by little to the egg mixture and gently fold until all the flour is mixed.

Prepare the baking sufuria by spreading margarine then dust with a little flour and pour your batter, put it in the oven

Bake for about 30-40 mins untill a knife comes out clean.

Make the syrup by boiling the 3tbs of sugar and water to form the syrup

Whip the cream until it form soft peaks, add 2tbs of icing sugar and continue whipping

Cool the cake and level it then divide into two. Start decorating by sprinkling the sugar syrup then spreading the whipping cream and finally the chopped grapes..

Put the other piece on top, sprinkle the remaining sugar syrup, cover the whole cake using the remaining whipping cream and decorate as desired.
