Steps

Peel bottle gourd and taste it if it tastes bitter don't use it.otherwise cut in cubes.

Wash gram dal and soak it in water for 1/2 an hour minimum.

Now pressure cook dal and bottle gourd till one whistle adding few drops of oil,salt,haldi powder in it.

Heat oil in pan add mustard and cumin seeds and chopped green chilies,curry leaves and chopped tomato in it.Add salt,haldi powder,red chilli powder,coriander powder in it.

Add boiled gram dal and bottle gourd in it and cook it till 1-2 boiling.

Serve it.
