When it comes to parties or party foods, we just think of the foods that are loved by us or by our children. But there are times when our oldies also love to party with their friends or relatives. What they expect in a menu is something, that they used to eat in their era. So here are meethi mathris, that are very less sweet, can be served as a side snack with tea or coffee. And these are very healthy too as no refined flour is used. And these are not just loved by them, rather everyone at your home will love to have these. Give it a try and share your reviews!

Steps

60 minutes
  1. 1

Firstly prepare a sugar solution using water and sugar. Take a pan, add water and sugar. Let the sugar dissolve in it completely.

  2. 2

Once the water gets cooled or warm, we will start kneading the dough.

  3. 3

In a big mixing bowl, take all the ingredients. And knead a stiff dough using this sugar solution. Keep it aside for half an hour.

  6. 6

Heat the oil in a skillet, and start frying these on a medium-high flame till golden in colour from both sides, in a batch of 10-12 pcs. Repeat the same way for the rest of the dough.
