Ingredients

  • 1 packetButton mushrooms
  • to tasteSalt
  • 3-4 clovesChopped garlic
  • 2-3 tspSoya sauce
  • 1 tspBlack pepper (freshly ground)
  • 1 spoonVinegar
  • 2Bread slices (cut from sides)
  • 2-3 spoonsButter
  • 1-2 spoonsChilli sauce

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash and pat dry mushrooms with a towel.

  2. 2

    Cut the mushrooms into thin wedges.

  3. 3

    Heat a pan and add 2 spoons butter and add chopped garlic, saute till golden.

  4. 4

    Add chopped mushrooms and saute for 2-3 mins, don’t overcook otherwise will lose the crunch.

  5. 5

    Add salt pepper soya sauce vinegar chilli sauce, mix well.

  6. 6

    Heat another pan and add butter and chopped garlic, toast the bread till golden.

  7. 7

    Plate the mushrooms in a dish, sprinkle chopped green shoots of onions, serve hot with toasted bread and cucumber ribbons.
