Gulabjamun needs no introduction,this delicacy is enjoyed all around the year and specially on festive occasions. My personal fav and i love to make them on my own.
Steps

First, we wiłl make the sugar syrup. Add the sugar, water, saffron and cardamom powder in a heavy bottom pan and cook till it reaches one thread consistency.

Add lemon juice to it and Set it aside.

Now take the room temp khoya and knead it well for 10 mins.

Now add the maida and milk powder and knead it again until smooth dough forms.

Roll out small balls out of it and fry them in medoum hot ghee rotating the pan around for uniform cooking.

Strain out gently once turn light brown.

Let them cool down a bit then dip in the sugar syrup and let them sit in.

Serve hot and enjoy!!!
