Ingredients

  • 2 cupsrice
  • 4 cupswater
  • 2 cupssugar
  • 2green cardamoms
  • 5kesar strings
  • 1 tspwarm milk
  • 1 tbsppure ghee
  • 10almonds
  • 10pistachios

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil water & sugar in a pan till sugar dissolves.

  2. 2

    In 1 tbsp of warm milk, add kesar strings.

  3. 3

    Heat ghee in a karahi & add rice, green cardamoms & sugar syrup. Cook on slow for 20 minutes.

  4. 4

    Switch off the flame. Garnish with almonds & pistachios. Serve hot.
