Ingredients

  1. TVP Taco filling
  2. 1/2 CupTextured Vegetable Protein
  3. 1/2 CupHOT water
  4. 3 Tbspminced garlic
  5. 3 Tbspfine diced onion
  6. 2 Tbspsoy sauce
  7. 1 tsppaprika
  8. 1 tspchili powder
  9. 1 Tbspcumin
  10. 1 Tbspgarlic powder
  11. 1 tspcilantro flakes
  12. 1 tspsalt
  13. 1 tspsugar
  14. everything else
  15. 2ripe avocados
  16. Shredded cheese
  17. 2 Tbspoil

Cooking Instructions

    In bowl combine TVP and HOT water. Stir and let sit.

    Heat oil in pan on medium

  3. 3

    Add all other ingredients to bowl. Mix until incorporated.

  4. 4

    Add mixture to the pan. Stir occasionally. Cook uncovered for approximately 8 to 10 minutes to get the right consistency.

    Cut avocados in half and lay them open faced in the peel.

  6. 6

    Portion filling into the center of the avocado halves.

  7. 7

    Top with shredded cheese and diced tomatoes
