Heat oil in wok. Add hing.

Crackle mustard seeds.

Add curry leaves chana dal and cashew.

When chana dal and cashew colour changes, add sewai and all spices except chaat masala.

Now 1 cup water and cook covered till sewa becomes soft.

In last add chat masala and lemon juice.

Sewa upma is ready to serve.
