Marinate the fish pieces with turmeric powder and salt. Fry the pieces properly from both sides.

Now take a pan, heat some mustard oil. Add black cumin seeds. After sew seconds add 2 tbsp onion paste. Give a stir. Then add 1 tbsp ginger, garlic paste, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt to taste. Mix them well and cook till the raw smell goes off.

Now add little amount of water and sugar. Let the gravy boil. Add 4-5 green chillies. After few minutes add the fried fish pieces. Before switch off the oven add coriander leaves.

Finally the recipe is ready to be served with hot steamed rice
