Ingredients

  1. 500 gbeef fillet
  2. 250 gsweat onion
  3. 250 gtomato
  4. 1/4 cupapple cider vinegar
  5. 1/4 cupvegetable oil
  6. 4garlic gloves
  7. 1 tablespoonbeef shawarma seasonning (if found)
  8. Note: In case not found, use the alternative mix:
  9. cinnamon powder
  10. peppers
  11. black pepper
  12. crushed cardamom
  13. garlic powder
  14. dried coriander
  15. crushed cumin
  16. 1 teaspoonsalt
  17. Tahini sauce:
  18. 1 cuptahini
  19. 3/4 cupwater
  20. 1/4 cuplemon juice
  21. 1 teaspoonsalt
  22. 1/2 teaspooncrushed cumin
  23. Mix all together untill the paste turn to sauce
  24. Note: You can add water if the sauce too thick
  25. Biwaz:
  26. 1big sweat onion
  27. 4 tablespoonsamak1 cup of shopped parsley
  28. 1 teaspoonolive oil
  29. For sandwish:
  30. french fries
  31. pickles (long sections)
  32. Saj bread

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the beef into long and thin chunks.

  2. 2

    In a bowl mix the following ingredients:
    *crushed garlic
    *oil
    *apple cedar vinegar
    *all the spices mentioned above to form the marinade.

  3. 3

    Rub the meat with the marinade, cover and let marinate overnight in the fridge.

  4. 4

    In a pan, add the beef marinade, stir on a high heat till well cooked and well dried.

  5. 5

    Add the chopped tomato, then stir on a high heat till its done.

  6. 6

    Turn off the stove.

  7. 7

    Served as sandwishes with addition of pickles and biwaz mix as desired.“
