Steps

Peel and boil the potatoes until they are cooked. Make sure to not overcook them. Add the full peeled carrot while your potatoes are half cooked.

Drain the water from the boiled potatoes completely and set aside to let them cool for 15 minutes

Use a grater to grate the potatoes and carrots

Add the flour, egg yolk and blueband then mix thoroughly.

Make small balls using your hands. In a pan heat 1 1/2 inch deep of oil. Use one tater ball to check if it's hot enough, the oil should be bubbling when it's hot enough.

Cook the taters in tens or less then serve warm with sauce of your choice.
