Aloor Chop is Bengal's most popular street snack, this Aloor Chop serve with puffed rice or Muri and tea.
Steps

Take a big bowl add chickpea flour, salt, beking powder. Now add water whisk to a smooth and thick batter. Keep aside.

Heat oil in a kadhai. Add onion and saute on medium flame till they turn translucent.

Now add ginger, garlic paste, salt, cumin powder, chrushed chillies, mashed potatoes and mix well.

Chillies, cumin powder, mashed potatoes and mix well.let this potato filling cool down.

Then make small to medium size potato cutlet from them, keep aside.

Heat oil for deep frying in a kadhai.

Now coat the potato cutlet with flour then deep the potato cutlet in the besan batter and coat it well with the batter.and place them in the hot oil, fry the Aloor chops on medium flame, from both sides till golden and crisp.

Serve bengali style Aloor chop with chutney.
