Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1 cupcooked rice
  2. 2 cupmilk
  3. 1/4 cupkhoya
  4. 1/4 cupsugar
  5. 1Clove
  6. 2green cardamom
  7. 1Little cinnamon sticks/Dalchini
  8. 3-4 TspGhee
  9. 1 pinchyellow food colour
  10. 2 tspcoconut flakes
  11. as neededDry fruits
  12. 4-5cauliflower florets (optional)

Steps

25 minutes
  1. 1

    Firstly in milk add sugar and boil till it becomes half. Condensed milk is ready.

    Now by applying ghee roast coconut flakes and dry fruits for a minute.

    Roast cinnamon sticks, green cardamom and clove by applying ghee for a minute.

    Now in that add roasted dry fruits, coconut flakes, food colour along with condensed milk. Cook for a minute.

    Now in this add cooked rice and khoya. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.

    Sweet Zarda is ready to serve. If you like cauliflower taste then you can roast cauliflower florets by applying ghee and garnish with it.
