Ingredients

  • 1/2 bunchpalak
  • 1 tsp garlic,chilli paste
  • 1 tbspnbesan
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 tsp each mustard seeds and cumin seeds
  • 1 tspchana dal soaked
  • 2 tsp peanuts soaked
  • 2green chilles
  • 1 pinchhing
  • 1/4 tspTurmeric powder (optional)

Steps

  1. 1

    Take palak in a cooker add green chillies and cook for 2 whistles. Soak and cook in water till cooked chana dal and peanuts.

    In a kadhai take oil add mustard, cumin, hing and saute till raw smell goes away

    Add palak paste/puree and mix. Add besan diluted to 1/2 cup water to avoid lumps. Add 2 cups water, salt and peanuts, chana dal bring to single boil.
