Ingredients

10 minutes
2 - 3 servings
  1. 1 cupcoarse Bengal gram flour (besan)
  2. 1 tspcoarsely crushed coriander seeds (dhania)
  3. 1 tspcoarsely crushed fennel seeds (saunf)
  4. 1 tspwhite sesame seeds
  5. 1/2 tspcarom seeds (ajwain)
  6. 1 tspred chilli powder
  7. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  8. 1.5 tspsugar
  9. 1 tbspcurd
  10. 1 tspoil
  11. To tasteSalt
  12. As neededOil for deep frying
  13. Garnish :
  14. 1/2 tspsesame seeds (black and white)
  15. 1/2 tspfennel seeds

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    Combine all the ingredients except oil (for frying) and mix well.

    Prepare a mixture which is semi soft by adding water.

    Apply some oil on your palms and take a small portion of the mixture. Roll them in between your palms and shape them into spirals. Sprinkle some fennel seeds, white and black sesame seeds on top. Press a little.

    Deep fry these spirals on low flame till golden brown in colour. Serve.
