Make a thick paste of garlic and mustard

Wash, drain and pat dry fish pieces.

Apply mustard-garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric, salt to the fish. Marinate for 2 hours.

Mix chopped onion, tomato, green chillies and coriander leaves and keep aside.

Heat mustard oil, place fish pieces and fry on low flame.

When one side is fried well turn the pieces.

Now cover the fried side of fish pieces with chopped onion-tomato mixture, continue cooking on slow flame.

Cover the pan for a minute, this will make onion tomato little softer.

When otherside is done, slowly turn the pieces along with onion tomato.

Cook till onions are translucent and tomatoes go soft. It will cling the fish pieces, at this time squeeze some lemon juice. Cook for another minute. Serve hot.
