Take a mixer jar, now add overnight soaked mix dal, ginger, garlic, salt, coriander leaves and grind it up to a smooth paste.

Now transfer the batter in bowl then add 1 tsp hot oil and baking soda mix well. Grease appe pan and pour batter with a spoon in each slot.

Cook it for 8-10 mins with lid covered. Reverse side upside down and drizzle a drip oil and cook again for 5 mins.Ready to serve with chutney.
