Custard Sheer Khurma

First, heat 1 teaspoon of ghee in a pan, when the ghee is hot add fine vermicelli in it and fry it on a medium flame till it becomes golden. Remove and keep aside in a plate.

Now pour milk in the pan and let it come to a boil, reduce the flame, then add saffron and cook until milk reduce 1/4, while stirring in between.

Now In a small bowl, mix 1 teaspoon of custard powder with about 2 teaspoons of cold milk and mix well to avoid lumps.

Now Mix custard mixture in the milk pan and let it cook for 2 minutes while stirring continuously.

Now add roasted vermicelli in milk and cook for few minutes or until done. Now add sugar and mix until sugar dissolves.

Now add cardamom powder and all dry fruits and stir. cook for another 2 minutes and turn off the heat.

Custard sheer khurma is ready to be served.
