Kashmiri dum aalo is the traditional recipe of Kashmiri which is cooked with small potatoes, yoghurt saunf and Kashmiri red chilli powder as main ingredients.always use mustard oil for dum aalo.
Steps

Peel the potatoes and wash well.

Boil the potatoes.

Once it boils strain it and deep fry it in oil.

Take a bowl add yoghurt saunf powder and red chilli powder and salt.

Mix well and keep it aside.

Take a pan or vok.add mustard oil.

Add Hing,red chilli whole and garam masala. Saute for a minute.

Add chopped onions.fry till translucent.

Add yoghurt masala and stir well.

Add coriander powder and fry the masala till oil separates.

Add fried potatoes.mixed well.

Add little water and cover the lid.

Simmer for 5-7 minute on low flame.

Serve with naan or rice.
