Crush the cardamom pods with the back of knife

In a pan, in medium heat, bring the cardamom pods and seeds, lemon juice and sugar to simmer. Stir continuously.

Rapid simmer for 10 minutes. Do not boil. Strain this mixture. Let it cool to room temperature

Add sufficient water and 2 tbsp of the strained solution. Chill in fridge. Serve with ice.
