Tomato Onion Chutney

Keep all the ingredients ready.

Take a kadhai and add 1 tsp oil and add chopped onions and saute for 2 mins. Then add green chilli and peanuts and curry leaves and saute till slightly colour changes.

Then add Kashmiri chilli powder and chopped tomatoes and salt to taste and cover and cook on low flame for 5-7 mins till tomatoes turn soft.

Let it cool completely. Grind it to a smooth paste and temper it with red chilli, mustard seeds and curry leaves. This goes best with idli or dosa.
