Cooking Instructions

Put the chicken, yogurt, salt, pepper and 2 tablespoons of curry powder in a thick bag and put inside the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Put butter in preheated frying pan, saut? the onion, garlic, ginger and an apple.

Add the canned tomatoes, water and coconut milk and bring to a boil.

Add the mixture made in step 1 and boil on low heat for 15 to 30 minutes.

5. Pour onto the rice and serve.

My husband requested this dish so I tried it out. I managed to cook this in a short time -- it was surprisingly easy!-Please simmer the chicken until it becomes tender. Please skim off the scum!-I use spicy curry roux for my family. If you are using sweet curry roux, add ketchup to your liking.-I recommend adding heavy cream or coffee creamer to make the taste mild. People make all sorts of curries. Some add coconut milk, some add cream & others vary the spices. When the chicken is half cooked, you can taste the gravy & add salt or spices according to your wish.
