Put Arhar daal in cooker give 5 whistles and switch off the flame let it cool down

Take another cooker and put oil in it than add onion saute till it turns pink add red chilli powder, and saute

Add bottle gourd, tomatoes,and turmeric powder and saute till 5-10 minutes.

Add green chillies and after 3 whistles let it cool down.

Add step 4 mixture in arhar dal add 1 tbsp salt and mix all together very well

For tadka -Heat up oil add mustard seeds, cumin seed let it crackle and add all the ingredients

Also add sambhar masala and quickly put this tadka in arhar dal mixture

Serve it with Dosa or idli
