Steps

Wash and soak rice for 30 minutes. Heat a pan add oil and ghee. Add whole spices and sauté.

Add onions and sauté. Followed by tomato and mushrooms.

Add briyani masala powder and chilli powder. Turn off stove and add leaves.

Once cooled down add curd. Transfer the mixture to cooker and add rice and give a gentle mix.

Add water and salt to taste. Steam it for 13 minutes (without whistle). Goes well with raita.
