Ingredients

3 servings
  • 1heap cup homemade crumble paneer
  • 1big onion chopped
  • 2green chillies
  • 1/4 cupcashewnuts pieces
  • 1/2 cupwarm water to soak cashewnuts
  • 4 tbspoil
  • 1/2 tspcummin seeds (shahi jeera)
  • 2big tomato (purée)
  • 1 tspfresh ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tbspdhania jeera powder
  • 1/4 cupfresh malai (from top of milk)
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/4 tspgaram masala
  • 1 tsphand crushed kasuri methi
  • 1 tbspchopped green coriander leaves

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak cashewnuts pieces in warm water for 1/2 hour. After 1/2 hour grind to smooth paste. Keep aside.

    In kadhai add & heat 1 tsp oil. Add chopped onion and chillies pieces. Saute for 2 minutes. As it cool down,grind it in mixer jar to make paste.

    In same kadhai add remaining oil. Add shahi jeera, add onion- chilli paste and saute till brown in colour.

    Wash tomato and chopped into pieces. Grind in mixer grinder jar to make purée. Add ginger-garlic paste, tomato puree to sauted onion mixture.

    Cook on medium flame till oil comes out. Add prepared cashewnuts paste. Mix and saute for 1 minute.

    Add all spices,salt and cook till mixture thickens and oil separate.

    Add paneer mix and cook for 2 minutes. Add 1/2 cup water cook for 2 minutes.

    Add malai mix well. Add and mix garam masala, crushed kasuri methi, coriander leaves and cook for 2 minutes.

    Serve/Relish Hot Delicious Crushed Shahi Paneer with Parathas.
