Rib Eye Steak with Mushroom Gravy Sauce (with local wisdom sauce)

I can't count how many times I've shared this family favorite steak recipe here. It's okay, right? I upload it often because it's the simplest and yummiest steak. It can also be a menu for breaking the fast later. There are quite a few components to prepare, but it's totally worth it. During quarantine times like these, it feels like a waste to spend money on steak outside. If you can make it yourself, why not?
Note: Make sure the meat is truly at room temperature before grilling.

During quarantine times like these, it feels like a waste to spend money on steak outside. If you can make it yourself, why not?

Steps
- 1
Cut the broccoli, mushrooms, and potatoes. Leave the potato skins on (wash everything thoroughly and dry them). Add enough olive oil, sprinkle with salt and black pepper, and mix until evenly coated. Then roast in the oven until cooked. Potatoes take longer to roast. Adjust according to your oven.
- 2
Take the rib eye steaks out of the fridge and let them sit at room temperature until ready to cook. Marinate briefly with 1 tbsp olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Then heat the grill that has been greased with margarine until it's really hot.
- 3
Once the grill is really hot and smoking (make sure it's really hot), immediately grill the meat. As soon as the meat is on, add 3 tbsp margarine or butter. Then add 1 sprig of fresh rosemary. If fresh is not available, you can use 1 tsp dried rosemary.
- 4
Add 2 more tbsp butter and 4 crushed garlic cloves. Grill the steak for 2 to 3 minutes on each side for medium rare, 5 to 6 minutes on each side for well done. It all depends on the thickness of the meat. The steak doesn't need to be flipped too often. Only flip after about 3 minutes if you want medium rare. Keep the heat high while grilling.
- 5
Let the steak rest for 10 minutes before serving. This step is important to keep the steak moist and tender.
- 6
To make the creamy mushroom sauce: add olive oil and sliced garlic, sauté until fragrant. Add heavy cream, oyster sauce, a little sweet soy sauce, black pepper, a pinch of salt, and mix well. Add the leftover oil from the meat. Pour the sauce over the steak and add the previously prepared potatoes, mushrooms, and spinach.
