Heat oil in a nonstick pan, add curry leaves, cloves, parwal, salt and mix well. Cover and cook for 7-8 minutes or till almost done. Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and red chilli powder and mix well. Add ¼ cup water to prevent masalas from scorching.

Add ginger-garlic paste and mix. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Cover and cook till the parwals get completely cooked. Serve hot.
