Steps

Melt the margarine and add in the flour,add in the baking powder,sugar,salt,lemon rind and mix.

Add in the milk in bits and knead until the dough is soft and doesn't stick on hands.

Cover for about 45 minutes with a damp cloth.

Roll out the dough on a flat surface not very thick. Cut into desired shapes and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown.
