Steps
- 1
Make a smooth batter of semi-thick consistency out of all the ingredients mentioned. Keep aside for a good 20 minutes or until use. The longer you let the batter stand, the better. Sometimes I use more of Red Chilli powder if there's a demand, so the colour varies accordingly. The use of Red chilli powder is, therefore, one's own choice and preference.
- 2
Heat oil on medium-high heat and dip the Potato slices in the Gram Flour batter until well coated. Then slide into the hot Oil taking care of yourself. Do not overcrowd the Kadai. Cook until golden brown and done turning sides to facilitate even cooking. Serve with any dip of your choice. Though these taste awesome on their own. Enjoy!
