Ingredients

  • 1 cupmoong dal (yellow)
  • 1 piecesginger(grated)
  • 1 cupcoriander leaves (chopped)
  • 2green chillies(chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoonred chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoonhing
  • 1/4 teaspoonajwain seeds
  • 4-5 piecesblack pepper
  • as per tasteSalt
  • as requiredOil for fry

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a bowl add dal and 2 to 3 cups water keep aside for 1 hour.

  2. 2

    After 1 hour drain out all water and transfer into a blender jar and blend dal until Grind coarsely.

  3. 3

    Transfer this paste in to a bowl add coriander leaves, ginger,green chill,red chilli,hing,salt,ajmain and black pepper mix proper.

  4. 4

    Heat oil in a pan when it is hot drop bit sized portions of the moong dal mixture to the hot oil.Do not disturb them till they come up.

    Keep stirring and fry on a medium flame.

  6. 6

    When they are golden and crisp remove them

    And serve with sweet chutney or green chutney.
