Ingredients

  • 1 lb.black-eyed peas (already soaked)
  • 1 cupdiced ham
  • 1/2 cupjalapeño slices
  • 1/2 cupdiced onion
  • 1/2 cupdiced celery
  • Salt, pepper & spices

  1. 1

    Sauté onion & celery until caramelized.

  2. 2

    Incorporate ingredients & 5 cups water. Simmer for 2 hours. Enjoy.
