Soak suji in curd and keep it aside to rest for 15-20 min.

Let's prepare the stuffing

In a pan add about 2 tsp of sesame oil(i use) u can choose ur choice of oil

Add mustard seeds let them pop, then add ginger, chopped onions,salt, turmeric,red chilli powder give it a mix then add ur boiled mashed potatoes

Cook it for a while

Then, allow it to cool once it's cool now make a cylindrical shapes of this mixture...

Now in a steamer...or u can use ur pressure cooker if steamer is not available at home

Add lil water and bring it to almost boil stage

Take a glass / small steel bowl/or whichever shape steel utensil u wish to use but it should fits well in ur steamer/cooker

Remove the whistle from ur cooker

Now,in sooji batter add 2 sachet of eno and 2-3 tbsp of water in it

Give it a mix and then immediately start pouring the batter in ur moulds make sure u fill only half of ur glass then place the cylindrical shaped potato masala then pour the batter again and don't fill it till the top edge

Place the moulds in steamer

Keep it on low medium flame for 8-10 min.

Then switch off the flame and take out ur moulds.....after 4-5 min. Start taking out from moulds

Now prepare the tadka

In a pan heat oil,add mustard seeds,curry leaves,slit green chillies,salt,turmeric and red chutney/gun powder

Switch off the pan

Now roll ur idli loaf....in tadka prepared such a way that it sticks of ur loaf from all sides

U can serve them by cutting them in wheels or just like that
