Steps

Rinse and soak urad dal in water for 5-6 hours or overnight. Drain and discard all water from dal.

Place it in grinder and grind into smooth paste.(Adding 1-2 tbsp water as required)

Transfer to a large bowl add ginger, green chili paste, salt mix well and beat batter till turns soft n fluffy.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan on medium flame, Take a medium size portion of batter drop in hot oil fry till golden brown.

Take them out from oil and transfer into a lukewarm water.

Soak them for 5 minutes, takeout them out from water press gently between your palms remove excess water.

Transfer them into servings plate or bowl.

For garnishing:- Beat salt, sugar, chilled curd untill smooth, pour curd evenly, top with sweet tamarind chutney and green coriender chutney sprinkle roasted cumin powder, garnish and Serve.
