Ingredients

  • 1 bowlcooked tur dal
  • FewChopped green chillies
  • 1Chopped tomatoe
  • 1 teaspoonChopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoonGaram masala
  • as requiredRed chiil powder
  • to tasteSalt
  • as requiredCoriander finely chopped
  • 2-3Kokum dry
  • 1 teaspoonDesi ghee
  • as requiredTurmeric powder, cumin seeds, mustard seeds,asoefitida

Steps

  1. 1

    Cook tur dal adding hing, turmeric powder, oil in a pressure cooker,

  2. 2

    Let it cool, heat pan,

  3. 3

    Add oil to it after that add cumin seeds and mustard seeds let it splutter.

  4. 4

    Now add garlic and green chillies to it add curry leaves and asafoetida. Fry it to 20 to 30 secs.

  5. 5

    Now add cooked tur dal to it mix well.

  6. 6

    Put garam masala,red chilli powder as per your taste

  7. 7

    Add salt and 2/3 kokum(amsul) to it.give nice boil.

  8. 8

    Add chopped coriander. Serve hot with rice.you can add coconut also but it's summer so I skipped.it also adds taste.
