Lauki Pista kheer

#goldenapron3 #week16 Kheer is a delicious Indian dessert. Today I prepared Lauki pista kheer which is so delicious in taste and easy to make. Generally Lauki kheer can be prepared in Navratri time. I have added some pista powder in it to make it so delicious and colourful.

Steps

Peel and grate the bottle guard without seeds. Heat a pan with ghee and fry the grated lauki till they become dry in low flame.

In the meantime boil the milk for sometime till it becomes half in quantity.

Prepare the pista powder in a mortar.

Add the thick milk in the fried bottle guard and cook it again for sometime. Then add the pista powder in it.

Cook it till your desired consistency. Then add sugar, green colour and cardamom powder in it.

Your lauki pista kheer is now ready.

Serve it in chilled condition by garnishing with some chopped pistachios on it.
