Comfort food at its best! Warm homey creamy cheesy goodness. I am listing the recipe as originally written, however we double the sour cream and soup mixture since we like it saucier, that's up to you. Also I've been known to add fresh sliced mushrooms to the beef and onions while they sauté. So tummy, enjoy!

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 lbground beef
  2. 1medium onion, minced
  3. 8 ozegg noodles
  4. 1 tbspbutter
  5. 1 csour cream
  6. 1 cancondensed cream of mushroom soup
  7. Salt and pepper
  8. 2 cshredded cheddar
  9. Crushed potato chips

Cooking Instructions

    Brown the beef and onion and drain excess oil.

    Meanwhile, cook noodles and drain.

  3. 3

    Mix together the sour cream, soup(no water added), and salt and pepper to your taste.

    In a 9x 13 greased baking dish, alternate layers of noodles, beef mixture, soup mixture, and cheese.

    Top with the crushed potato chips and bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes till bubbly and melty.
