  • maize
  • beans
  • carrots
  • onions
  • oil
  • tomatoes

Steps

  1. 1

    Select beans and wash

  2. 2

    Soak beans overnight

  3. 3

    Boil maize and beans together till tender

  4. 4

    Put oil on pan

  5. 5

    Add onions, let it fry till golden brown

  6. 6

    Add tomatoes and carrots

  7. 7

    Add githeri, stir cover and simmer

  8. 8

    Serve hot with ovacado
