  1. 1 tablespoonolive oil
  2. 1onion
  3. 2carrots
  4. parsley
  5. leavescelery
  6. 1 pinchthyme
  7. 2bay leaves
  8. 1 pinchblack pepper
  9. 2 teaspoonspowdered bouillon
  10. 1 packageNo. 2 fideo pasta (thick vermicelli)
  11. dried basil

  1. 1

    In a pot, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sauté 1 chopped onion. Add 2 peeled carrots sliced into rounds, chopped parsley, and chopped celery leaves. Pour in 4 cups water (about 1 liter), add 2 teaspoons powdered bouillon, and season with black pepper, dried basil, a pinch of thyme, and 2 bay leaves.

    When the carrots have softened a bit, add half a package of No. 2 fideo pasta (thick vermicelli).

    Let everything cook until the pasta is tender, and it's ready to serve.
