I use the term perfect very loosely. I have made my eggs just like this for many years now. Very simple.

Ingredients

  1. Water
  2. Eggs
  3. 2 TablespoonsKosher Salt

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Place however many eggs you desire in a stockpot. Cover eggs by 1 inch with cool tap water. Bring to a rolling boil on your stovetop. Once you have a rolling boil, take stockpot off the heat source. Cover with a lid and let rest for 11 minutes. Then place eggs in a ice bath. Wait for around 1 hour to fully chill. Peel and enjoy!!

  2. 2

All the salt really does, is repair an egg if it cracks while boiling. It works kinda like a sealant.

I've always used a lot of salt in the water and the shells come off so easy. My trick is to let them sit in cool tap water and peel them while still slightly warm
