Soak rice in water for 30 minutes

Heat oil and sautay cumin seeds, cloves, black pepper and cinnamon. Than add sliced onions and fry till golden brown.

Now chopped dried kashmiri red chillies and sautay a little bit

Now add soaked rice and water

Add salt

Cook on medium heat till water absorbed and rice cooked completely

Serve with any kind of gravy or sabzi bhaji
