It is a good side dish,good for health especially for ladies,preparation time is long but quite easy to cook

Cut the yam into cubes and cook it with 3 litre water,1 tablespoon turmeric powder for 3 minutes and strain the water

Take a pan add oil once get heat seasoning it with mustard then add onion tomato ginger garlic paste red chilli powder turmeric powder coriander powder with salt and fry well

Fry well and then add tamarind juice,curry and coriander leaves close with a lid for deep fry
- 4
Now and then stir and fry well,it will take minimum one hour for frying (flame must be in a sim manner). after that serve hot.
