Soak the Dal in hot water for 2 hours before cooking.

Cook the Dal with turmeric & salt for 10-12 Min.

In a deep pan heat 3-4 tbsp ghee or oil.Now add heing,cumin seeds, green chillies & ginger-garlic paste and saute it for few seconds.

Then add onion paste till the pan leaves ghee.After that mix tomato puree into it with some salt & cook for 2 min.

It's time to add coriander powder,red chilli powder,garam masala and cooked Dal.Mix properly,if consistency is thick add some water & let it come to a boil.

Turn the gas off.Add lemon juice, kasoori methi and garnish with chopped Coriander

Note- It tastes super with piping hot rice
