  • 1 kgBathua ki leaves
  • 1/2 kgYougart
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1/2 cupwater
  • 4 clovesgarlic
  • 1small onion
  • 4red chilli buttons
  • Pinchturmeric
  • Pinchsugar
  • 1 tspchat masala
  • 1/2 tspcumin seeds

  1. 1

    Cut & wash batwa leaves In 1 kg saag add 1/2 cup water 2 cloves of garlic small onion chopped 2 red chilli buttons pinch of turmeric pinch.

    Boil it for 5 min on medium flame.. mash it with wooden spoon..dont dry it completely... you can also save it in freezer for later use..

  3. 3

    In bowl beat yougart add salt, chat masala,pinch of sugar & mix well then pour yougart over cooked batwa..

  4. 4

    Bhaghar:
    2 red button chillies
    1/2 t spoon Zeera
    2 cloves of garlic
    3 Tsp of oil
    Make a bhaghar & give a tarka to your dish...

  5. 5

    Ready to eat with zeera waalay rice, Rotti
