Steps

Mix flour, salt, dalda (30gms) with ice cold water to form a soft dough.

Cover the dough and refrigerate it for 30 mins.

Roll the refrigerated dough into 10*12 rectangle and apply approx 30gms of dalda generously over it and then fold into a book.

Repeat 3 times and then cover and refrigerate the book folded dough for 30mins.

Gently Roll the folded dough into rectangle and cut 10 equal parts.

Put the filling at the center of each part and fold them using water as a binding agent.

Refrigerate the folded pastry for another 30 mins, meanwhile preheat the oven at 220°C.

Brush milk on top of refrigerated pastry and keep in the preheated oven for around 30-35 mins till it's light golden brown.

Once it's golden brown, take it from the oven and place on the cooling rack.
