Steps

Rinse and peel the karelas
Make a vertical cut on each karela keeping the base intact.

Remove the hard seeds with a small spoon.

Put a pinch of salt in all and keep for 30 minutes. After 30 min rinse them nicely under running water.

Now mix all the dry spice powders with very little salt.

Tie a thread tightly around each karela.
Same way put masala in the slit onions - 6
Now for frying
heat the oil and fry the karela in the oil till they are browned and cooked.

In the same oil, onions and fry them till they begin to brown.
add the karela and saute till they and the onions become crisp and golden. - 8
Add the rest of the spice mix, if there is any left over..
while serving bharwa karela remove the thread and serve bharwa karela with some poories, parantha
