Ingredients

  • 4-5large potatoes
  • 3 Tbspoil
  • 1Large onion cut into chunks
  • 1red bell pepper cut into chunks
  • 1green bell pepper cut into chunks
  • 2garlic cloves, sliced
  • 1red chilli, finely sliced
  • 1/2 tspChinese five-spice powder
  • to tastesalt
  • to tasteBlack peppers crushed
  • 2 tspChilli flakes or to taste
  • 3spring onions finely sliced
  • Oil as needed for frying chips
  • as neededCornflour

Steps

  1. 1

    Peel and wash potatoes well then cut into wedges size and put them all in cold water for about 10-20 minutes.
    Wash well till all the cloudy water is clear.
    Dry well then coat all chips with cornflour.

  2. 2

    Take a big pan add oil, heat well.
    Shake all extra flour off the chips
    then fry until golden and crispy. Take them out onto Kitchen paper towel, set a side.

  3. 3

    Heat the 3 tbsp oil in a wok and fry the garlic,onion, pepper, spring onion and chillies for 4-5 minutes.
    Add the chips/fries to these and season with the all spices
    Serve immediately. Enjoy!
