Ingredients

1/2 an hour
  1. for Dal
  2. 1/2 cuparhar dal
  3. to tasteSalt
  4. 2 cupwater
  5. For Dhokli
  6. 1/2 cupwheat flour
  7. 2 tspgram flour (besan)
  8. 1/2 spooncarom seeds
  9. 1/2 spoonTurmeric powder
  10. As neededWater
  11. 1 spoonghee
  12. For Tadka
  13. 1 spoonghee
  14. 1/2 spoonjeera / cumin seeds
  15. Pinchhing / asafoetida
  16. 1/4 spoonturmeric powder
  17. 7-8curry leaves
  18. 1dry red chilli
  19. 2 tspFresh Coriander leaves
  20. 1dry red chilli
  21. 1 tspgreen chilli
  22. 1/4 tspred chilli powder
  23. 1 tspdry Mango powder (amchur powder) / raw mango in small pieces

Cooking Instructions

    We prepared daal first. Clean daal & soak in water for 1/2 an hour.

    Turn on gas put the pressure cooker add 2 cul water add salt add soaking daal (remove water wash & add)

    After 1 whistle reduce flame for 2-3 min. then thrn off gas

  4. 4

    For dhokli - Take wheat flour gram flour (besan) carrom seeds cruch with palm salt 1 spoon ghee. Add little water.

    Kned the dove like chapati dove. cover the dough.

    After 15 min roll dough in big dough with palmsapply some dry flourr roll like chapatior paratha

    Cut it any shape like square, diamond shape

    In vessel add 2 cup water boil itadd cutting dhoklies (place one by one) boil for 10-15 min

    Tadka -Put pan over flame1 spoon ghee add 1/2 spoon jeera pinch hingadd 1/4 spoon termiric powder curry leaves dry red chilli 1green chilli chopped tomato saute ncook

    Add red chilli powder mango powder saute masala till oil seprates

    Place the vessel with dhokli on flame addboiled daal & tadka boil 5 min on low flame

    After 5 min add, coriander leaves

  13. 13

    Take out in bowl add little ghee

  14. 14

    Your tasty daal dhokli is ready Serve hot.
